Firstly, i needed an account. Registering was simple enough. Signing up meant my details were saved, i could create a wish list and checkout was much much quicker.
The website itself is easy to work around, everything has its own little section and is very well organised. You can narrow your results down by price, gender, and age making it so simple to navigate around. The website is very simple which i personally like with all important information right in front of you.
We ordered 3 things
- My little pony Pinkie Pie helicopter
- My little pony - Rainbow Dash equestria doll
- Furby Furbling - Zig - Zag
We really wanted to order the new Rainbow Rocks Fluttershy doll but it was out of stock. Bit gutted about this as my, my little pony made daughter really wants one. Ill have to keep an eye out in store.
When finished I clicked check out and was given options for both click and collected, delivery or shutl delivery. Free delivery is available for orders over £40 - something which suits me as after 3 toys you often hit the £40 quite easily.
Choosing click and collect i was prompted to pay for my items and informed that payment had gone through. I was then told i was would get a confirmation email as soon as they are ready to be collected in store.
The entertainer has 2 options regarding click and collect orders.
- If available in store, orders can be ready for collection in as little as 30 mins.
- If items need to be delivered to a selected store, orders will be ready within 1-3 working days.
As the furbling was out of stock in my local store, i was required to wait 1-3 working days. With Easter being last weekend, i recieved an email today telling me my order was ready. All orders are held for 28 days and cancelled after this time if not collected so i didnt have to rush there straight away. As i was excited about getting the toys and putting them away, i sent Gareth up there to pick them up.
Once order is confirmed it asks that you bring a copy of your confirmation order or your order number and Id to prove who you are. If someone is collecting on your behalf, they need both the confirmation/order number, you ID and their ID. I sent Gareth with my bank card, order number and his passport. He said no questions were asked, they looked at the id and paperwork and handed the items over.
Verdict
It was so easy to use. Had the furbling been in store with the other items i could have been collecting them that day. I was really impressed and would defiantly be using this again. As i tend to buy from The Entertainer at a minimum every 2 months, this saves me £3 each time. £24 a year in postage charges. That £24 i think i will put onto a Entertainer gift card which i top up every time i go in store, to save up for the big Christmas shop.
The Entertainer currently have sale on for many of their items. You can check it out yourself by popping over to their website :) The Entertainer
