My kids when they were younger were prone to drawing on things other than paper! Recently i stupidly left a permanent marker on the side after labeling the moving boxes. It of course fell down the side and landed on my brand new rug, leaving a noticeable black blob stain in the middle of it.
I found this on pinterest and it worked perfectly. It needed a few goes of vinegar as the stain had set but it is alot less noticeable than before. While i do not use permanent makers too often, i imagine my clumsiness will mean i need to use this again in the future. Hopefully it will save others some money not throwing items away.
